Serendipitous scheduling meant that Tatler Ball 2019, which took place on November 1st, coincided with Robin Ang's birthday as well as Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina and Tan Sri Mohd Effendi Norwawi's wedding anniversary. Words can't describe how touched we are that our friends chose to celebrate their big day with us.

There's good reason why we turn to Fleur by Razak Luxe Decor time and again; the talented Razak Ahmad always outdoes himself, and this year was no different. Oversized palm leaves, white orchids and floating orbs melded seamlessly with the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur's scintillating chandelier, and we couldn't help but stifle a smile when Shareen Ramli informed us, "The men at our table have said at least three times—isn't the decor beautiful? Boys don't usually pay attention to such things!"

The Tatler Ball menu, which saw several rounds of revision by the T.Dining team, was especially delicious this year, thanks to Chef Junious Dickerson and his team. Wine and whisky pairings by Moët Hennessy Diageo Malaysia rounded out the meal beautifully. Stay tuned for a full review of the lavish spread!

Promptly beginning after dinner, the awards presentation was a success thanks to our esteemed partners, from Unsmoke by Philip Morris to Meridien Bhd.

Scha Alyahya (Most Stylish Woman) bagged herself a Tiffany & Co bangle, while Tunku Mohamed Alauddin and Puteri Badrinise (Couple Of The Year) scored a RM10,000 voucher from Roger Vivier by The Melium Group. Celebrity couple Datin Vivy Yusof and Dato’ Fadzarudin Anuar (Entrepreneur Par Excellence) took home a RM10,000 voucher from Club 21 while Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum (Diamond of Excellence) added a Corum Watch from Cortina Watch Malaysia to his existing collection. Last but not least, our dear Dato’ Rosemarie Wee (Force For Good) was bestowed with a RM10,000 voucher from Fendi. Everyone who was invited on stage also received a gorgeous glass-blown trophy from French glassmaker Lalique.

Guests at Tatler Ball 2019 had the opportunity to get up close with the latest smartphone by Samsung. Those who tested its camera quality reported back favourably, and the AR doodle feature saw some unleash their creative juices.
