Charity has never been more fashionable: Tengku Zatashah teamed up with CH Carolina Herrera for a ‘shop with a cause campaign’ at the fashion brand’s Suria KLCC store in September.

The event saw several high-profile Malaysian celebs who happily contributed 10% of their shopping proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Malaysia Foundation.

Pink Power Through Pink Polo KL

Crowds of spectators and polo enthusiasts dressed in pink turned up at the Royal Selangor Polo Club this October to cheer on their favourite polo teams. This annual charity tournament serves to elevate the prominence of women’s polo in Malaysia and raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation.

A Pink Evening With Estee Lauder Companies & Dato’ Sheila Majid

Jazz songstress Dato’ Sheila Majid lit up the stage with her sultry vocals at this year’s charity concert by The Estee Lauder Companies Malaysia, held at Ruyi & Lyn at Bangsar Shopping Centre.

Education For Hope Musical Gala Charity Dinner

Organised by Yayasan Wanita Cemerlang (YWC), this musical charity gala effectively raised funds to provide covational training to 353 girls at the Montfort Boys Town in Selangor. The evening concluded with a cheque presentation to both Montford Boys Town and the Malaysian Mental Literacy Movement by YWC.

The Gold A-HEART Fundraiser With The Acts One Group & Autism Buddies

A charity auction featuring artworks by Kim Il Tae from Korea, Huang Hai Fan from China, Ryan San Chin Yan from Hong Kong and Alvin Yap from Malaysia, a total of RM716,929 was raised towards helping the state of Perlis build its first dedicated autism centre.
