Social enterprise EPIC, which builds sustainable homes for underprivileged communities under its Epic Homes, has initiated a campaign to supply basic food to over 1,000 Orang Asli families affected by the Movement Control Order
The MCO has caused 1,208 Orang Asli families in Hulu Selangor to lose much of their ability to earn a living and they are struggling with getting basic food. To help them, EPIC (Extraordinary People Impacting Community) has activated an emergency campaign to raise RM120,800 to purchase and deliver food to each household. EPIC is working with Jabatan Kemajuan Orang Asli (JAKOA) to deliver the food.

The money will be used to purchased such basic necessities as rice, wheat flour, cooking oil, instant noodles and canned food.
