Some facts and figures around the Malaysia Tatler Ball 2015, the biggest soiree to see and be seen in the country.

The Tatler Ball, being the most important event in the social calendar of our high society folks, is always well thought-out with every aspect of it carefully executed. So many components go into making the ball a success. While a whole lot of it is immeasurable, we bring you some fun facts and figures of this year’s Tatler Ball.


520 guests attended this year’s Malaysia Tatler 26th anniversary ball.


6,000 stalks of flowers were used this year to invoke the celebration- and fireworks-inspired floral arrangements.


3 types of flowers were used and they were James Storie orchids, roses and ping pong chrysanthemums.


100kg worth of beef tenderloin went into the making of the Beef ‘Poivre’, which consisted of a beautifully done beef mignon.

190 bottles of Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial were popped that night plus one bottle of Magnum for toasting by the heads of the Tatler team.


5000 glasses in total were used, including champagne flutes, wine glasses and water goblets.


2 cars were displayed inside the grand ballroom – the Infiniti QX80 SUV and QX70 Crossover.


15,930 number of likes were received by the photos hashtagged #MYTatlerBall2015 #TatlerFirstElite and a total of 192 photos were printed by Wowgram.


5 feet was the height of this year’s topsy turvy Malaysia Tatler’s 26th anniversary cake, sporting a giant T.


104 Jo Malone candles were lit around the ballroom, each permeating with a different scent.


2 Samsung SUHD TV were put up at the ball while one major drama went down as the night progressed.
