On 2 February 2018, #chrysfaliqeverafter set the wedding bar high with a spectacular union that saw the coming together of 2 powerful Malaysian families, the Tans of Berjaya Corporation and the Nasimuddins of Naza Group. The Chateau in Bukit Tinggi was transformed into a dream castle for the radiant bride Chryseis Tan, who wore a finely embroidered Yefta Gunawan wedding gown with mandarin collar and floor-sweeping veil. Faliq Nasimuddin complemented his bride in a traditional baju Melayu and songket in their turquoise and peach theme colours. The ceremony, attended by respectable society figures, began with a jovial akad nikah and a noteworthy pantun recital by patriarch Tan Sri Vincent Tan, a fun-filled chip san leong, and an emblematic tea ceremony to seal their cultural bond.

The bride stepped into married life, fittingly dressed in a traditional-meets-contemporary bridal gown by Indonesian designer Yefta Gunawan. It featured a delicate, billowing veil that swept the floor as Chryseis made her bridal march.
