Dato’ Seri Farah Khan, on the turning points in her personal and professional life that culminated in two milestone cover features for Malaysia Tatler.

Dato’ Seri Farah Khan is one of those long-time friends we’ve had the good fortune of growing up with since our early days. We’ve seen her evolve in a career of fashion and entrepreneurship, celebrated her triumphs together which culminated in two cover features of June 2006 and December 2007.

“Oh my God, I look so different then!” she exclaimed with a laugh. Known for her chameleon-like approach to fashion as projected through her eponymous label, and an astute retail flair applied through her luxury fashion concept, Melium Group, Dato’ Farah thrives on a high-energy, creative environment – so “different” is a good thing.

Fresh from a whirlwind trip to Italy that followed with a glamorous launch of Kuala Lumpur’s first Lanvin menswear store in Pavilion, it was business as usual for Dato’ Farah, who indulged us with a walk down memory lane for this 28th Anniversary special video.

In candid Farah style, she shared with us what exactly was going on behind the scenes, highlights of her career and personal life at the time of those covers. “This was very important for my life and for myself, I like that growth!” she added.
