We revealed the 29 Malaysian honourees on the Gen.T List 2020 at a physical unveiling event in Kuala Lumpur

On October 1, we unveiled the 29 Malaysian Leaders of Tomorrow on the Gen.T List 2020 with an intimate celebration at OpenHouse KLCC

The dinner, presented in partnership with our regional sponsors Credit Suisse and Chopard, was attended by honourees from this and past years’ lists as well as members of the Tribe—a panel of industry heavyweights who Gen.T consulted for this year’s list. Tribe members who were present included Datuk Hartini Zainudin, co-founder of Yayasan Chow Kit; Andrew Chan, the consulting leader of PwC Malaysia; and Surina Shukri, CEO of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation.

Geraldine Beh, the managing director of Tatler Malaysia, kicked off the evening with a quick congratulatory speech to the 2020 honourees. "True leadership and courage often rise during times of great adversity, and you are all a timely reminder that the future is bright," she said.

Entertainment came in the form of singer Dasha Logan, who serenaded the guests as they enjoyed a four-course meal, served alongside a selection of wines from 2WineWine as well as Grey Goose cocktails created by mixologist and Bacardi ambassador Jonas Ax.
