From the fanciful to the mechanically striking, these timepieces from storied fashion houses are unquestionably bold and beautiful.

1. Gucci Grip

Almost instantly, the watch gripped (no pun intended) your attention for its apparent absence of a traditional dial. Instead, it looks like an industrial steel bracelet crafted of either yellow gold PVD or plain steel.

Betraying its disguise though are a crown and three small windows revealing the hour, minute and date operated by three white rotating discs. Meanwhile, logo worshippers would be happy to find that the interlocked double ‘G’ mark is spread throughout the watch.

2. Louis Vuitton Voyage Minute Repeater Tourbillon

The movement, developed and assembled at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton in Geneva, combines two of the most complex complications – a flying tourbillon and a minute repeater. The flying tourbillon can be seen at 5 o’clock adorned with a ‘V’ at the top, which, considering its position on the dial, can also be interpreted as the Roman numeral for ‘5’. Meanwhile, the minute repeater employs the cathedral gongs for a deeper sound.

The manual LV100 caliber can be admired on the dial as well as the caseback, with the former also decorated with a motif inspired by the brand’s striped canvas. The 42mm case is white gold, with another option set with diamonds.

3. Hermès Arceau H Déco

The beautiful motif on the dial recalls the ironwork at Hermès’ boutique in Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. In the centre lies a mother-of-pearl disc with two intertwined ‘H’ that twirls according to the movement of the wrist. There are two versions to choose from – a black dial with diamond-set arches and a white dial paved with diamonds.

4. Fendi Policromia

Designed by Delfina Delettrez Fendi, a 4th generation of the Fendi family, Policromia translates to mean "the art of decorating with several colours" and it literally ran with the suggestion, adorning the watch with parts - dial, strap and stones - in all imaginable hues.
