From contemporary prints to edgy silhoutte, here’s the skinny on the hottest Hari Raya outfits for this year’s Aidilfitri.

This year, the Raya collection previews leading up to the month  Ramadan were aplenty and each designer brought their best threads and trade to the table.

At the Jovian Mandagie for Zalora  and Fiziwoo x Selberan Raya 2016 fashion show, we soaked in all the festivities, fun, fashion and fabrics of Aidilfitri.

Sieving through the trove of Raya 2016 collection,  we narrow down the list to the six labels that could make a huge difference to your wardrobe this festive season. Get your Raya game on!

Rico Rinaldi

If you like breaking rules, then you will love Rico Rinaldi’s Summeraya line of edgy Raya outfits. Underlined by exceptional workmanship, contemporary prints and fun silhoutte; the brand sure knows how to add definition to an otherwise simple ensemble.

Alia Bastamam

Staying true to her simple, minimalistic style, Alia Bastamam plays with pleats and flowy fabric in her Raya 2016 collection. Her selection gives you two styling options, to look dainty by keeping a neutral palette or add a bold lip colour/jewellery to up the glam factor.

Bernard Chandran

For 10 years now, Dato’ Bernard Chandran has been diligently putting out his annual Petang Raya collection. A go-to label for a smattering of royalties in Malaysia and Brunei, Bernard Chandran always ticks the right boxes with silhoutte, colours, fabric and trend. With his latest collection, he once again proves that he is indeed a fashion tour de force.

Innai Red

Go all out this Raya in Innai Red, where embellishments and structural silhoutte rule the rack. The head-turning outfits come in a smorgasboard of pastel shades and strong hues. This Aidilfitri, all you need is one hero piece from Innai Red and you’re good to go!

Karen Millen

Not the go-to brand for Raya outfits, Karen Millen has something up its sleeve for the festive season. Think floral, flowy outfits that even your Tok Wan will approve. What's more, you can mix and match any of these outfits with your existing ones.

Pokoks
