Italian jewellery brand Roberto Coin that’s favoured by A-listers the likes of Halle Berry, Salma Hayek and Michelle Obama, has found a shiny new address at the Starhill Gallery. Spanning 150 sq m, the interior opens to a contemporary and warm atmosphere, complete with a spacious sofa area to encourage shoppers to slow down and savour the boutique’s elegant environment. Jewels on display include an extensive variety, from the award-winning Pois Moi, to the stunning Black Jade and New Barocco collections.

With its bright neon lights, colourful play tables and a redecorated 3D mosaic wall, Shu Uemura has upped its beauty game with the spanking new Sunway Pyramid boutique. The 360-degree concept features a fresh atelier table, lip bar, and even a new foundation and cleansing oil bar to give visitors a touch and feel of the products. A breath of fresh air, these new Shu Uemura displays bring out the colours and variety of the brand’s iconic products, packed into a distinctly Tokyo-charged atmosphere.

Size matters, and Bally knows it. With that, the Swiss luxury brand set up shop in a larger retail space covering 195 sq m in Suria KLCC. The double story concept was co-developed with Bally’s design and creative committee. The expansion means a wider berth of ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories for men and women, beyond the large glass-enclosed store baring the iconic red marble plinths within. The themed concept calls for a pink velvet on the ladies’ floor, whilst the men’s items on the first floor are highlighted with blue velvet walls.

A string of recent openings later sees the fourth Clé de Peau Beauté Counter opening at Robinsons, The Gardens Mall. The iconic diamond-like décor is modelled after the Japanese brand’s star product, La Crème, leading into 4 zones designed to the customer’s journey of the senses, from The Gallery, The Dresser, The Salon and the Facial Cabin. Thoughtfully laid out skincare and makeup draws customers to touch and try each item, whilst luxurious signature facials can be experienced in a hidden facial cabin.

Brass, marble and clean white curves make up the new Versace store at Suria KLCC, in a display of modern luxury and traditional Italian architecture. The store covers 233 sq m retail space that holds prêt-à-porter collections for men and women, alongside featured accessories and watches. The ambiance is unmistakably Versace, ornate and detailed to impart a luxurious clientele experience.

Previously exclusive to Isetan, the Japan Store, at a limited retail capacity, Virgil Abloh’s Off-White label has expanded to a pop-up space in neighbouring Starhill Gallery. This marks the cult brand’s second boutique in Southeast Asia that’s slated for just a 6-month duration, starting from December 2017. Fans can zoom in on the Milan-based brand’s accessories, bags and apparel housed in a stark but statement red and white setup.

Diane von Furstenberg opens the doors to a new 1,065 sq ft space in Suria KLCC that ticks all the boxes of her new visual concept. The store utilises neutral colours and materials, including brass rails, cork plinths and white plaster walls, with a touch of green plants and art pieces. The palette underscores DVF’s fondess for vibrant prints and colourful ready-to-wear collections, with a touch of plants and art. An impression of Matisse’s airy, sun-lit home, the new design corresponds with the brand’s new gold Futura typeface.

The third and latest dUCk store is the homegrown brand’s most prestigious address to date in all its 3,000 sq ft glory at Suria KLCC. The retail store is a breath of fresh air, with its white walls, marble counters and decorative, purple dUCk monograms. Each of dUCk's iconic categories, from dUCk scarves, cosmetics, stationary, home and living, and accessories – are represented in their own corners. dUCkies would feel right at home, upon setting foot into the airy showroom home and living, scattered with purple velvet seating.
