Designers and artists looking for a stroke of Karl Lagerfeld’s genius can now find it in a limited edition collection of high-end drawing tools.

The designer has teamed up with Faber-Castell to launch KARLBOX, a sleek black box of 350 fine quality art tools for drawing and painting designed by Lagerfeld himself. The collaboration is doubly significant because Lagerfeld is a proud user of Faber-Castell and has created countless works of art over the span of his illustrious career with it.

The KARLBOX opens like a Chinese wedding cabinet with wooden drawers housing the art supplies elegantly sorted by colour. Each of its content is also personally selected by Lagerfeld and symbolises the synergy between fashion, art and design.

The individual drawers that hold them are also removable for easy set up during use.

The KARLBOX is limited to inly 2,500 units worldwide and each comes with its own serial number and certificate of authenticity, making it a true collector’s item.

It is priced at RM12,500 a unit and is available at Faber-Castell retail outlets (KLCC Mid Valley City, 1 Utama); Isetan KLCC & The Gardens; Parkson Pavilion and KLCC; and Czip Lee Bangsar beginning September 15, 2016.
