Changing one’s hair colour or hair style is one of the most noticeable ways to give oneself a makeover, and it’s one of those things that K-pop stars seem to have mastered effortlessly. Think BTS’s Jimin changing his hair colour from black to blonde in 2023, which gave rise to the hashtag #blondejimin.
Even those who are relatively new to the industry, such as K-pop girl group Itzy’s Yuna, have had a number of dramatic hair transformations over the years. She, along with her band Itzy, debuted only in 2019, but she’s already making beauty statements with her impressive hair styles. To celebrate her birthday on December 9, we look at her best hairstyles over the years.
1. Modern maroon
Pops of red have been all the rage this season thanks to the corpcore trend and Itzy’s Yuna has taken note with her latest look from October: a deep maroon colour that contrasted with her grey cropped jacket. The hair length and the slight waves give it a perfectly natural look, and might even remind music lovers of Dua Lipa’s red hair which she sported in the Houdini music video last month.
