Boucheron carved a piece of jewellery history for itself when it first premiered its Quatre Classique rings in 2004, surprising everyone with a bold combination of colours and materials, assembled in four rings with four differing graphic motifs representative of the Boucheron codes. 

The Clou de Paris, the Grosgrain, the Ligne Diamants and the Doule Godron unveiled an unlimited world of versatility when it came to wearing the rings – they can be worn mixed and matched in however order you prefer; each also holds its own when worn singularly.

This fall, the jewellery house is deconstructing the classic to offer a renewed representation of its house codes. It has released updated versions of the Grosgrain and Clou de Paris motifs in a selection of rings and cuffs, an effort made to pay an everlasting homage to its city of origins, Paris. 

The Clou de Paris traces the cobblestone of the iconic Place Vendôme, tracing a path through the City of Lights on the finger. The Grosgrain on the other hand, is a nod to Frédéric Boucheron’s family who, as drapers, heavily inspired the delicacy of his creations. On the wrist or finger, it twirls beautifully like precious ribbons of gold.
