A new ladies watch collection from Bovet 1822 will put you in a sweet mood

Bovet 1822 makes sweet history with the new Miss Audrey Sweet Art collection of watches with dials composed of pure sugar crystals. Safe to say, this may be the first time a watch boasts such a confection. These candy-coloured luxury watches are as sweet as they are sophisticated.

How is this made possible? First, pure sugar crystals are treated such that they will not lose shape or melt over time. They are then chosen by size, hand-painted, and painstakingly applied, one by one, on the dial by hand. The result is a precise assembly of tiny pellets that lend the watch an intriguing texture and appearance.

The fact that they come in different colours only makes it even more marvellous—choose from black-and-blue combination to gold-and-pink.
