Bulgari Introduces New Brand Ambassadors, François Civil And Chiara Ferragni
Meet François Civil and Chiara Ferragni, the latest additions to a star-studded line-up of Bulgari brand ambassadors, including Blackpink's Lisa, The Crown's Josh O'Connor and Japanese actor Tomohisa Yamashita.
Ferragni is one of the pioneering fashion influencers, alongside Aimee Song, Wendy Nguyen and Chriselle Lim. Her blog, The Blonde Salad, which she started while she was a law student at the prestigious Bocconi University, amassed millions of followers on Instagram across the globe. She managed to leverage her following to make a big name for herself in the luxury fashion industry. She was the first blogger to ever appear on a Vogue cover and has appeared as a guest judge on Project Runway. She even has a Barbie version of herself.
However, it was her entrepreneurial nature that drew the attention of Bulgari CEO, Jean-Christophe Babin, who was impressed by her successful foray into business and fashion design: "Chiara will be an incredible alley to make our messages resonate across also the young generations. She is an extraordinary sparring partner on fashion and luxury trends."
Commenting on her partnership with the Roman jewellery house, Ferragni said: "The Bulgari legacy is about audacity, boldness and iconic Italian design famous all over the world, all values that we share since ever. This is the reason why we are joining forces to focus on having a social impact with our future activities.”
You may know this handsome Civil from his role as Hippolyte on Netflix's hit comedy series, Call My Agent. Since then, he has become a darling in French cinema for his versatility and range in such movies as the Wolf’s Call, Love at Second Sight and Who You Think I Am.
His journey as an actor resonates with Bulgari's latest Serpenti Viper collection, which is a new stage in the transformation of the Roman jewellery brand's iconic snake. In the campaign video, Civil recounts his own relationship with metamorphosis alongside Adèle Exarchopoulos from award-winning film, Blue Is The Warmest Colour.
This year, Civil will be playing D’Artagnan in the latest big-budget film adaptation of The Three Musketeers, cast alongside Eva Green and Vincent Cassel.
