The idea behind the move is to simplify the presentation of Burberry’s full product range.

Burberry has announced that it will begin unifying its labels into one to boost its overall appeal.

The move will see its Prorsum, London and Brit collections being consolidated into a single new label, known as ‘Burberry’.

The transition will take place over the course of 2016, transforming the brand into one fully unified label by the end of the year.

The idea behind the move is to simplify the presentation of Burberry’s full product range, in acknowledgement of how its clients are experiencing the brand both on and offline. The label will also begin emphasising more on its British design heritage, as a tribute to all its products being designed and developed in London, England.

"By unifying our three lines under one label we can also offer a much more consistent experience of Burberry’s collections,” tells Burberry chief creative officer and CEO, Christopher Bailey.

Established in 1856, Burberry is a global British luxury brand with a heritage of innovation, craftsmanship and design spanning across 5 divisions – men, women, children, accessories and beauty.
