Chanel’s 2016/17 Cruise collection was many things – full of a flamboyant Cuban fun and flair – and one thing that has become a hot favourite from the collection is its Derby shoes. 

Sporty chic and two-toned with just enough casual vibe injected into them to balance out work and play, they’re just the shoes you need to transition from day to night.

They’re so hot in fact, that G-Dragon, K-pop star and ambassador of the house, is a big fan and even has his own favourites.

The singer, composer and producer who also has been a friend of Chanel for several years now has shared his love for two of his favourites in a series of polaroid photos, shot with simplicity and modesty.

They picture him with his two favourites – one in perforated leather and a silvery creased leather and another in smooth patent leather contrasted with golden creased leather. Both feature a wide welt and a sewn effect on a leather sole, the perfect final touches of dandy chic.
