Cartier recently gave us a preview of the new Women's Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. This pavilion is designed with the intention of inspiring gender equality and women's empowerment.

Expo 2020 will be the first World Expo to take place in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region. Taking place from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, it is expected to be the largest yet with over 190 participating nations including Malaysia.

Apart from the country pavilions, there will also be special pavilions designed around a theme such as the Terra Sustainability Pavilion that will be built in strict accordance to the criteria set by LEED Platinum, the highest accreditation for sustainable architecture.

Cartier's Women's Pavilion is another special pavilion, this time championing women's issues with an exhibition titled New Perspectives that celebrate the many significant ways women had made a positive impact on the world. At the same time, it also highlights the challenges women still face today.
