Unveiled in the recent Baselworld 2015, Chopard’s “métiers d’art” Happy Fish brings us down to explore the beautiful deep blue sea.

If you ever wonder how majestic the depths of the sea can be, Chopard has it all sorted for you with a beautiful masterpiece in turquiose and gold.

Taking inspiration from beautiful marine creatures, Chopard features a new “métiers d’art” Happy Fish watch at the Baselworld 2015 to join its existing Happy collection.

With a beautiful fish crafted with mother of pearl, adorned with gold leaf and surrounded by snow-set blue sapphires, the beauty of the watch is unprecedented, especially at night time.

In the dark, the flowing curves and movements of the watch are enhanced greatly by gold leaf to a point, where the fish creates a glow-in-the-dark effect (see below).

Along with the fish and sapphires, there are seven diamonds dancing freely inside the watch, as if to follow the waves of the sea. To add more dimension to the piece, the fish's eye are set with red jasper to stand out from the sea of blue, white and turquoise.

Paired with a diamond-set bezel on 18-carat rose gold case and a white alligator strap, the self-winding timepiece is truly a piece of wonder that evokes the magic of the underwater world.

Limited to only 25 pieces, the Chopard “métiers d’art” Happy Fish watch is exclusive to Chopard boutiques and corners. For more information, please contact your nearest Chopard boutique or check out its official website.
