Creative director Caroline Scheufele translates her love of nature into a new range of high jewellery

Chopard's Red Carpet Collection is a highly anticipated jewellery collection every year not just because of the magnificent beauty of the pieces produced in its Haute Joaillerie workshops in Switzerland, but also because of its association with the glitz and glamour of the Cannes Film Festival. Actresses Julianne Moore, Marion Cottilard, Cate Blanchett and Zhang Ziyi have all worn these exquisite jewellery on the red carpet in the past.

Due to the pandemic, there won't be a physical form of the festival this year but that hasn't stopped Chopard, the festival's partner of 22 years, from releasing yet another breathtaking collection inspired by nature — think gem-studded owls, diamond-encrusted polar bears and coloured gems evoking lush foliage.
