Dior extracts enigmatic bitter-sweetness of tonka beans for latest men's fragrance
The new Fève Délicieuse, launched as part of the exclusive La Collection Privee, is a new irresistibly gourmand creation that literally ravishes the senses.
Often, fragrances for men are either spicy, green or citrusy.
In a revolutionary step in the history of men’s fragrances, Dior is turning to the Venezuelan tonka bean as inspiration for its latest men’s cologne.
The new Fève Délicieuse, launched as part of the exclusive La Collection Privee, is a new irresistibly gourmand creation that literally ravishes the senses. Woven around the immediate seduction of this ingredient, the new fragrance is a celebration of sweetness laced with a delectable touch of bitterness.
To cloak the potency of the tonka bean, the warm and slightly smoky notes of Madagascan vanilla and Calabrian bergamot were also employed to complete the sensation of delight. What you get is a milky sweet concoction that still remains courageously masculine with its slight bitter tail.
This new fragrance for men effectively brings together two ends of the scent spectrum in a way never before done.
It is slated for release this May 2015. For more information on the new fragrance, log on to the official website here.
