No Tatler Ball would be complete without the highly anticipated red carpet trend spotting. The black tie outfits at #MYTatlerBall2018 were nothing short of edgy and distinctive, and saw some of our favourite fashionistas embracing the theme of minimalist elegance. Bright pops of colours abound, the brilliant vermilion being a popular shade worn by Datin Yvette Kang, Marion Caunter and Tan Kai Peng, and structured drapery a common thread among Jovian Mandagie gowns. There were also traces of female liberation, in the form of tailored pantsuits worn by the adventurous likes of Kim Raymond and Most Stylish Woman awardee, Datin Dian Lee, a departure from their customary ladylike dresses.
