Daniel Wu in 'A Rose Reborn' by Ermenegildo Zegna

Leading Italian designer menswear label, Ermenegildo Zegna, partners with Park Chan-Wook to produce a four-part film series, starring leading Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu.

Ermenegildo Zegna collaborated with South Korean director Park Chan-Wook ("Old boy," "Stoker") to make a film on a new generation of global leaders. Naturally, the characters are dressed in impeccably tailored suits.

Described as "the story of a journey of discovery and growth told in four parts," the short film "A Rose Reborn" will be unveiled progressively throughout September and October. While the trailer was released Tuesday through a dedicated website, movie fans will have to wait until next week to see the film's opening scenes.

The project is a creative collaboration between Park Chan-wook and Creative Director of Ermenegildo Zegna, Stefano Pilati, that showcases the Italian maison’s new style and fashion forwardness, which caters to the new leadership leneration.

The first episode, titled "You're Not Wearing That", will be released on September 15, followed by the second on September 24 and the third on October 13. The final episode will premiere on October 22, the last day of Shanghai fashion week.

The two lead actors, Daniel Wu and Jack Huston, are dressed entirely in Ermenegildo Zegna Couture created by Stefano Pilati, while the rest of the cast is outfitted in the brand's various other collections.

The trailer offers a first look at the attire of lead actors, recently seen respectively in the movie "The Man with the Iron Fists" and on the series "Boardwalk Empire."

A Rose Reborn is selected by the “Busan International Film Festival” and by the “Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma” where it will be screened in its entirety on the occasion of these two important cinematographic appointments.
