The American designer has been creative director of the Italian fashion brand since 2013
Jeremy Scott is exiting Moschino, where he has served as creative director for 10 years.
The news was announced by the Italian fashion brand, which shared the following statement on Instagram Stories: “Scott has penned a fundamental chapter in the legacy of the brand with his fearless and show stopping pop-camp style and incisive humour—true to the renowned codes of the house.”
Scott, who also runs his namesake fashion label, was appointed to lead Moschino in October 2013. He made his debut with Moschino’s fall/winter 2014 collection, which famously featured Chanel-style tweed suits and an array of accessories and bags boldly adorned with McDonalds-inspired Moschino branding.

Throughout his decade-long tenure at the brand, the American designer would continue to combine the codes of couture and consumerism, true to the irreverent and playful spirit of founder Franco Moschino. Other of Scott’s highlights at the house include the Barbie collection for spring/summer 2015; the fall/winter 2020 collection that featured Marie Antoinette-inspired pannier dresses with miniskirts; and the recent fall/winter 2022 show, for which models like Bella and Gigi Hadid flaunted clothes that resembled furniture like clocks, chandeliers and lampshades.
“These past 10 years at Moschino have been a wonderful celebration of creativity and imagination,” shared Scott through a statement on Instagram. “I am so proud of the legacy I am leaving behind… I would also like to thank all my fans around the world who celebrated me, my collections, and my vision for without you none of this would be possible.”
