The Dark Blue Kiss star brings beach vacation fashion to the city with a colourful outfit that combines terrycloth and raffia
Loewe’s sun-drenched collaboration with Paula’s Ibiza is now in its seventh year, and it continues to delight. The new collection from the Spanish luxury fashion brand offers up vibrant, summer-ready styles that are inspired by island life, allowing its wearer to exude a beach vacation aesthetic wherever they go. That much is made clear by Thai actor Tay Tawan, who flaunted his colourful Loewe x Paula’s Ibiza outfit while out and about in Hong Kong’s Central District.
The Dark Blue Kiss star stood out against the city setting with his Loewe x Paula’s Ibiza Anagram jacquard polo shirt, which is made from bright green terrycloth. The shirt comes with matching shorts, which would have been the ideal ensemble to dry off in if Tay had really been by the seaside. Instead, the actor opted for a pair of baggy jeans that he expertly styled with his deconstructed denim sneakers, both from Loewe.

A highlight of the Loewe x Paula’s Ibiza collaboration is the array of playful and striking accessories that emphasise natural materials and craft techniques such as weaving, braiding and embroidery. The 2023 collection is no different, as Tay shows us. The Thai star sports a striped raffia crochet hat with a fringed brim, which is basically a combination of two summer style staples: the bucket hat and the raffia tote.
Speaking of, there are plenty of woven bags to choose from the latest Loewe x Paula’s Ibiza line-up, including the Iraca baskets and the new Loewe Font Tote. (Part of the proceeds from purchases of the two bags will be donated to support education and craft in Colombia and Madagascar.) To match his shirt, Tay chose to wear a cotton knit crossbody bag from the collaboration instead, marked by the embroidered Loewe logo, tropical leaf patches, and of course, a brilliant green hue.
