Embodying grace, intelligence and sophistication, Grace Kelly's granddaughter is now the face of Chanel

The iconic French house recently sealed its relationship with Charlotte Casiraghi, a longtime Chanel devotee, by officially making her Chanel's newest ambassador and spokesperson. Casiraghi is the granddaughter of the late American actress Grace Kelly and the daughter of Monaco’s Princess Caroline; she will be joining the ranks of such Chanel luminaries Kristen Stewart, Lily Rose Depp, Penélope Cruz, and Keira Knightly.

"It’s almost as if I was born with Chanel," declares Casiraghi.

The Monégasque royal is more than a pretty face; she also holds a degree in philosophy and has a passion for literature and poetry, an influence of the late Karl Lagerfeld. In 2015, she founded Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco to celebrate and promote philosophy through monthly themed events dedicated to reflection, discussion and the passing on of ideas.

For her first task at Chanel, Casiraghi stars in the spring-summer 2021 campaign imagined by Virginie Viard and photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in Monaco.
