Kuala Lumpur’s one-of-a-kind full service event specialist, MOEP, launched in a stylish way on a fine evening at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, that featured a spectacular ‘Haute Couture Reimagined’ fashion show and VIP guest list who flew in from all over the world.

Arrivals were led through a path displaying visuals of gowns from MOEP’s atelier, elaborate floral arrangements, and a tantalising cocktail bar with delectable desserts. The evening kicked off when Hong Kong celebrity hosts, TVB actor and radio DJ Bob Lam and actress-model Sarika Choy, took to the stage, entertaining guests over a sumptuous sit-down dinner.

The highlight of the evening begun when models walked the stage dressed in stunning wedding gowns and suits from two renowned collections, the 2018 LOVE Collection by Pnina Tornai of TLC’s ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ fame, and Rita Vinieris who designed Kelly Osbourne’s wedding gown.

Saving the best for the last was an auction of the night’s signature dress modelled by Sarika. Designed by founder and chief designer of MOEP, Kiki Law, the handmade masterpiece was embroidered with more than 3,000 metallic pearls, and cost an estimated RM30,000 to make. The dress was snapped up for RM68,888, of which profits were donated to the Dignity for Children Foundation. Ending with high spirits, Kiki and her team raised a toast to thank everyone for participating in MOEP’s first milestone event, which represented their event planning finesse.
