Paying tribute to Malaysia’s 60^th Independence Day, Hublot will be launching a special edition Big Bang Merdeka timepiece together with The Hour Glass.

The Big Bang Merdeka watch is limited to only 60 pieces and will be made available exclusively for the Malaysian market.

What makes this watch a true piece to treasure, is its iconic design that is inspired by the Jalur Gemilang. The watch comes with a blue alligator strap adorned with gold stitches paying tribute to the blue canton bearing a crescent and the 14-point Federal Star on Malaysia’s national flag.

To commemorate the major milestone, the dial of the watch features the number 60 at the 12'o clock position in gold and an engraving of ‘special edition’ and ‘merdeka +60’ can be seen on the underside of the case.

Along with being aesthetically pleasing, the Big Bang Merdeka comes with HUB 4100 caliber and a 42-hour power reserve. The dial, with a diameter of 44mm, is housed in a case of blue micro-blasted ceramic with an anti-reflective sapphire glass.

The Hublot Big Bang Merdeka timepiece will be available from August 30 at Hublot Boutique, Suria KLCC and The Hour Glass boutiques nationwide.
