Hublot’s New Limited Edition Classic Fusion Watch Pays Tribute To Porto Montenegro
Adriatic Sea’s scenic Bay of Kotor recently welcomed Hublot as its newest resident. The Swiss watchmaker is now the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of Porto Montengro Marina and Yacht Club, founded less than 10 years ago by investment banker Jacob Rothschild, businessman and philanthropist Peter Munk and Bernard Arnault, the chairman and CEO of LVMH that owns Hublot.
The partnership was made official last week by Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe and David Margason, the managing director of Porto Montenegro, by the property’s infinity pool.
Although relatively new compared to the historical harbours of Cannes and Saint-Tropez, Porto Montenegro has steadily grown its stature as a sophisticated sailing haven with 450 berths, 290 waterfront residences and a five-star hotel.
“Hublot again demonstrates its capacity to constantly renew itself while respecting its own proud history and tradition,” adds Guadalupe. “The Classic Fusion Porto Montenegro is the fusion of these core beliefs.”
The chronograph timepiece is crafted in a titanium case and features plenty of blue, including the sunray dial that is adorned with Porto Montenegro logo at ‘3’; the sapphire crystal caseback also features this logo.
The watch’s engine is the automatic HUB1143 with a frequency of 4Hz and a power reserve of 42 hours.
Limited to 30 pieces, you can only get your hands on this Classic Fusion in Central Europe including Excelsior, Hublot’s exclusive retailer in Porto Montenegro.
