Learning To #LoveYourLocks With Panasonic Beauty

December 3, 2018 | BY Samantha Lim

The grand launch of Panasonic Beauty's new nanoe and Double Mineral Hair Dryer EH-NA98 was a grand opportunity to train dirty, eat clean, and tease our tresses. We attended the big blowout at Babel Fit to find out why Panasonic's patented technology is making waves.

Invest in your hair; it's the crown you never take off.

When Panasonic Beauty produced its first hair dryer in 1937, little did the Japanese corporation know that it would be a prototype for premium grooming products to come. The new nanoe and Double Mineral Hair Dryer EH-NA98 is testament to the brand's tireless pursuit of perfection. Having sold 10,000,000 units in Japan in 2018 alone, the EH-NA98 incorporates patented technology.

Eschewing a 'hard sell' and encouraging a holistic experience, Panasonic Beauty Malaysia hosted a healthy day out at Babel Fit for audiences to get a feel of the product for themselves. Participants took their pick of three workouts—Circuit, HIIT or Cync—before scrubbing down and getting dolled up by representatives from 8 Days Hair Salon. Wholesome snacks from Rawsome and goodie bags assembled by Lorna Jane and Believe Active completed the 'Love Your Locks' campaign.

"Don't just dry... Beautify."

4 KOLs received the nanoe and Double Mineral Hair Dryer EH-NA98 two weeks prior to the grand launch. Here are their takeaways:

While Carey Ng may have retired from the world of beauty pageants, time is still of the essence to the founder of the Curious Child Center. "I usually just bun up my hair because I don’t have time to make it look presentable; it’s the best way to look fashionable," said the Miss Malaysia alum. Nevertheless, the Double Mineral Hair Dryer's multiple functions won her over at the end of the day. "Having the choice to make good choices for your hair certainly helps.”

Lee Yvonne, on the other hand, rarely shirks her hair dryer. "I’ve been using them since I was 15 years old. Without one, my hair would be big and frizzy," laughed the founder of Luxe Lash Shop, Miss World Malaysia 2012 and participant in The Amazing Race Asia Season 5. "I’m so glad that I’ve found Panasonic Beauty’s new nanoe hair dryer."

"It literally dried my hair in 5 minutes,” enthused Daiyan Trisha. “As an actress and a singer, I'm no stranger to the salon, but this is the first hair dryer that has different functions such as the hot, cold, scalp, and skin care mode. A lot of hair dryers are too hot, which damages your hair even more."

Equally alluring to the opposite sex, the new nanoe technology hair dryer has made an impression upon Malaysian actor, dancer and choreographer Yusof Hashim. “I never used to use a hair dryer and preferred to let my hair dry naturally,” he revealed. “But since dying my hair a month ago, which included a bleach job, I need to be more particular than before. This gentle hair dryer does the job."
