1. Invest in a good, long-wearing lip balm
Most women would say that they wouldn't want to get on board the bright lip trend because their lips are in a state. Granted, bright red lipsticks are a huge commitment, but it all starts with the basics. This means proper lip care. We suggest putting on lip balm as often as you can, especially before you sleep and even when you're at home. With such a vivid colour on your lip, cracked and chapped lips get more obvious, or worsen with wear – especially if you're going for a matte lipstick.
