Louis Vuitton Escale Time Zone Watch

The local time is told by a white triangle and matching minute hand, while the other timezones are read hands-free, in the alignment of a city’s initials.

Have you always wondered what it would be like to be at two places at one? What about 24 places at once?

Louis Vuitton can’t physically transport you to 24 different places at a go, but it can certainly help you tell the time instantly in 24 different timezones at a single look at its Escale Time Zone Watch.

The bonus? It is colour-coded in the most eye-catching design we’ve seen on a watch yet.

The local time is told by a white triangle and matching minute hand, while the other timezones are read hands-free, in the alignment of a city’s initials. No complicated techniques are required to find out what time it is in Mexico while you have brunch in Denmark.

Its colourful planetary palette design also revisits the codes of the House and the Art of Travel. The dial is designed from the bands, initials and emblems used in back in the day to personalise Louis Vuitton’s iconic trunks, while the case reinterprets these trunks’ corner trims.

Honouring the  brand’s long tradition of craftsmanship, the dial is made using a special transfer technique carried out by hand.
