We travel to Tokyo for Louis Vuitton’s regional press presentation to get a closer look at the fall/winter collection and we can’t get enough of the cool handbags introduced this season.
Nicolas Ghesquière, one of fashion’s biggest names, is hailed as a success story at the House of Louis Vuitton for straddling the brand’s traditional values and his own creative performance contemporising fashion for women. All while chalking up massive commercial success, especially in Asia.

For the fall/winter collection, the womenswear artistic designer was largely inspired by the areas surrounding Centre Pompidou in Paris, which he says is “A fascinating incubator of a neighborhood. An incredible mélange, converging in the epicentre. The cliques, the styles, the life... I love that impression of a sartorial melting pot. Today, I've transposed it at Louis Vuitton: a House of multiple expressions...”
