Nicholas Knightly, Louis Vuitton's design director of leather goods, has launched a new line Mallet & Co that currently includes three styles offered via the online luxury retailer.

Louis Vuitton's design director of leather goods, Nicholas Knightly, has launched his own label of handbags, now available exclusively via Net-a-Porter.

Knightly's label, Mallet & Co., currently includes three styles offered via the online luxury retailer: the Archie, the Hanbury and the Zues, priced from €1,470 to €1,617 (arounf RM6,880 to RM7,568). All three are said to capture an "English sensibility," and are intended for everyday use.

Knightly, who is behind Mulberry's Bayswater bag, will reportedly continue to work with Louis Vuitton on a freelance basis, according to WWD.
