Good Luck Trolls, the cult toy of the 1980s and 90s, are getting their very own makeup collection this summer thanks to MAC.

The cosmetics brand is teaming up with the toy franchise on a beauty line in honor of the upcoming "Trolls" movie set for release in November this year.

The rainbow-haired playthings have inspired an eye-catchingly colourful collection covering lipsticks, eyeshadows, glitters and more.

Key products from the collection include bold lipsticks in "Can't be Tamed" sheer lime yellow, "Dance Off Pants Off" hot pink and "Midnight Troll" rich blue, in creamy, frosted and matte finishes respectively. A selection of shiny 'Lipglasses' include glittery "Bubble Butt" magenta, "Twerkquoise" sky blue and "Glitter Grunge" berry tones.

For eyes there are a series of vibrant shadows in frosted, velvet, matte and satin textures. The varied hues include "Paradisco" pinky-coral, "Suns Out, Buns Out" mustard yellow and "Atlantic Blue" cobalt blue.

The collection will also include pigment colours, beauty powders and even a 187SH Duo Fibre Face Brush. Colorful glitters in teal, violet and fuchsia complete the line.

Movie-themed makeup ranges are becoming a hot trend, with Urban Decay announcing the launch of its Spring Disney "Alice Through The Looking Glass" collection earlier this week. Last year CoverGirl unveiled a hugely successful special ‘Star Wars' collection timed with the release of the blockbuster "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".

"MAC Good Luck Trolls" will launch internationally in August at select M·A·C locations and their official website.

MAC don't just indulge in nostalgia, their futuristic spring collection is a big look to the future.
