On Valentine's Day, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they are expecting their second child, making Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a soon-to-be big brother

Wearing a black, one-shoulder velvet gown with Tamara Mellon Karat sandals, the mom-to-be made a surprise appearance at the Fashion Awards in London to present the designer behind her iconic wedding dress, Clare Waight Keller with the British Womenswear Designer of the Year award in December 2018.

Helping Out at Birkenhead

During a visit to Birkenhead to help out at a community supermarket and café in January 2019, Markle wore a striking purple Babaton by Aritzia Maxwell frock which promptly sold out everywhere. Paired with a red Sentaler wrap coat and a beige leather Gabriela Hearst Nina bag, she was definitely a ray of sunshine in the gloomy English winter.

Visit to an Animal Charity

In mid-January 2019, the Duchess of Sussex went for neutral tones with an affordable H&M turtleneck dress and a beige Emporio Armani coat during a visit to an animal charity in Mayhew, London where she served as a patron.

Endeavour Fund Awards 2019

Showing off her growing baby bump, Markle made an appearance at the Endeavour Fund Awards in a custom Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy high-waisted, slitted maxi skirt and white blouse, black Givenchy clutch, Aquazzura pumps and Vanessa Tugendhaft stud earrings.

It was at the Endeavour Fund Awards the following year where Prince Harry and Meghan were pictured smiling sweetly at each other under the shade of a black umbrella — the snap that rocketed to viral fame online as yet another embodiment of their fairytale romance.

Welcome Party in Morocco

Markle and her husband's much-anticipated trip to Morocco kicked off with a fancy party at the British Ambassador of Morocco's resident in Casablance. Looking radiant in red, the Duchess accessorised her caped dress with muted pumps and the Valentino Garavani VRING bag in beige.

Visiting Fellow Royalty in Morocco

After a visit to King Mohammed VI of Morocco in Rabat, the stylish couple took a tour of the city, including a romantic stroll through the Andalusian Gardens. Bringing an element of comfort to her business attire, Markle wore a black flowing, pleated dress and a simple white blazer with her hair pulled back into a ponytail —perfectly complementing Prince Harry's tan linen suit.

At the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey, Markle wore a white coat over a printed dress by her close friend, Victoria Beckham. She paired the look with a statement white hat and simple clutch purse.

Reception at Buckingham Palace

At the reception at Buckingham Palace celebrating 50 years of Prince Charles's investiture, Markle looked stunning in a brocade dress. Over it, she donned a knee-length Amanda Wakely's cream sculpted tailoring Crombie coat and accessorised with a clutch by Wilbur and Gussie with muted suede pumps by Paul Andrew.
