The new sneakers will become available worldwide as of September 8

The Prada for adidas collaboration continues following the sellout first drop in December of last year. The second release of the Prada Superstar is expected to mimic the original release––with sneakers being in impressively high demand.

“With each partner bringing a unique perspective to a conversation founded on mutual exploration and the search for new boundaries, Prada for adidas is a laboratory for ideas, a new vehicle for creativity,” adidas said in an earlier press release.

The second drop of the Prada Superstar will include additional colours, expanding past the original all-white release to include monochrome black, black and white, and chrome silver with white accents. Each sneaker will be crafted from premium Italian full-grain leather with ‘Made in Italy’ stamped along both the Prada and adidas Originals logos.

“This collaboration is built on an authentic fusion of fashion and performance,” adidas explained. “adidas’ sporting heritage and visionary approach to technological development merges with Prada’s world-renowned history in leather-goods and unparalleled perspective on luxury and quality, synonymous with the label Made In Italy.”

In addition to the latest sneaker collaboration, Prada and adidas are also believed to be working on their next collaborative release, with the announcement revealing  that the next release will draw inspiration from the America’s Cup, the premier sailing competition in the world, yet there’s no confirmation as to what form the future collaborations may shape up to be.

The latest Prada Superstar sneakers will be available globally starting on Sept 8 at Prada boutiques and adidas flagship locations. The line will also be available on the official Prada and adidas websites on the same date.
