Held at the Malmaison by The Hour Glass boutique at Knightsbridge in Orchard Road, the auction preview’s main attraction is undoubtedly an exclusive selection of Rolex Daytonas curated by Pucci Papaleo, author of The Ultimate Rolex Daytona.

Look out for the vintage white gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona also known as “The Unicorn”, of which its sale will benefit Children Action dedicated to improving the lives of youth around the world. The timepiece will go on the block at the Daytona Ultimatum sale in Geneva on May 12, 2018.

Another significant piece on display is the Omega that once belonged to Elvis Presley, gifted to him by RCA Records for having sold 75 million records. This watch is part of the Geneva Watch Auction: SEVEN that will also happen on May 12. This auction will also feature several rare, complicated Patek Philippe timepieces.

The exhibition is also a great opportunity to catch up with Aurel Bacs, the man responsible for acquiring the famed Rolex Paul Newman Daytona for a Phillips auction last year. That watch would eventually set a record for the most expensive wristwatch ever sold at US$17.8mil (RM74.96 million).

The Daytona Ultimatum and Geneva Watch Auction: SEVEN preview is on until April 8, 2018 at Malmaison, 270 Orchard Road, Singapore. For more information, visit The Hour Glass Facebook page here.
