Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic

Its Excalibur Automatic Limited Edition has the Round Table making up the dial, flanked by the 12 knights seated around it where time-telling numerals are typically found.

Every child and adult knows the tale of King Arthur and his gallant Knights of the Round Table who swore to protect the one true king who pulled an enchanted sword out of a rock.

Galahad, Gareth, Gaheris and more sparked imaginations of countless boys to stand up for truth, honour, and above all, loyalty to King and country.

Roger Dubuis, maker of extraordinary timepieces with equally extraordinary tatler_tatler_stories has premiered a watch that is based on one of the most symbolic scenes in legend and literature.

Its Excalibur Automatic Limited Edition has the Round Table making up the dial, flanked by the 12 knights seated around it where time-telling numerals are typically found. The knights each have their swords drawn in oath as though they are in the midst of initiating a meeting.

Each of the knights' swords is casted by hand in gold. At the centre, the dial is forged of precious enamel that forms a kaleidoscope of colours, emphasising even more the evocative power of the watch.

Powered  by an RD821 Automatic movement, the watch is self-winding like all Roger Dubuis calibres and is stamped with the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva.
