The "Radiant Room" will showcase the house's new "Quatre Radiant" ring for the festive season, in a setting based on the theme of "light."

Luxury jewellery house Boucheron has teamed up with artist Mathias Kiss on a dazzling new Paris exhibition.

The "Radiant Room" will showcase the house's new "Quatre Radiant" ring for the festive season, in a setting based on the theme of "light."

The centerpiece, this season's newest Quatre Radiant ring, comes in an "outsized" rose gold version, with the sculptural and graphic elements designed to reflect the brilliance of "an assertive woman who radiates energy."

The new Quatre Radiant Ring

To celebrate the piece, Kiss has transformed the Boucheron boutique in Place Vendôme, Paris, into a "landscape of light," creating an installation designed to make visitors lose track of where they are. A combination of mirrors and sheets of silver leaf defies perspective and gives the impresison of fragmented clouds gathering around the jewelry.

The installation draws upon the inspirations behind the ring itself, which features one band bearing a series of precious Clous de Paris -- miniaturised reminders of the cobblestones in Place Vendôme -- that fly up into a reinvented Parisian sky and then transform into silvery clouds.

Boucheron has been forging close ties with the design world for some time, thanks to its "Artist & Artisan of Dreams" project, which sees artists invited to take a Boucheron collection or individual piece as a starting point for an exhibition. Jean Cocteau, Alexander McQueen, Shaun Lean and Marc Newson have all collaborated on projects with the house.

Kiss's recent work includes a 2014 "Mercure" installation for music duo Air's Open Museum at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille and the 2013 "Kissroom" installation as part of the FIAC's OFF program.

The Radiant Room will be open from December 1 through January 15, 2016 at 26 Place Vendôme, Paris.

Another coveted piece from Boucheron: Its Quatre Radiant Cuff inspired by the barnd's mythical codes.
