“I’m very lucky to be in the aviation industry because aircraft are like toys for men," enthuses Mah Kok Wah. "My day-to-day is working with these giant machines."
The 35-year-old has a creative side too – his other passion is interior design. In fact, he was very much involved in the design of his home so that the space that he shares with his wife, Angelyn Chong, and his dog, Boba, is a relaxing sanctuary.
But thanks to what he has learnt from his profession, form will always follow function. "When it comes to an aircraft, there’s no such thing as wastage because every aspect serves a purpose."
He applies this philosophy when picking out his fashion accessories. Not afraid to experiment with fashion, he has a penchant for pulling together a sharp look with bold accessories. We were suitably impressed when he chose a funky Louis Vuitton vest-suit and an avant-garde Richard Mille timepiece for Tatler Ball 2019.
