Belle of the ball Lady Gaga paired her show-stopping Valentino couture homage to Judy Garland’s outfit in the 1954 version of A Star Is Born with the Aurora necklace from Tiffany & Co.. The custom-made jewellery featured 300 brilliant cut diamonds anchored by a spectacular 20-carat pear-shaped diamond at the heart.

2/12 Julia Roberts

Roberts made a bold choice with her Stella McCartney tuxedo-pants-and-ball-gown ensemble. Equally striking were her ear adornments: A pair of white gold earrings set with pear-shaped and round diamonds from Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection.

The Favourite actress wisely chose to accent her dramatic ruffled Celine dress with a simple Cartier choker embellished with onyx, coral and diamonds.

She famously wore heels from a high street label, hidden most of the time under her expensive Calvin Klein by Appointment dress. Her choice of jewellery, however, was suitably haute: A pair of Bulgari High Jewellery diamond earrings that matched the sparkly tassels on her dress.

The A Star Is Born director and actor wowed in a white Gucci tuxedo. For arm candy, he had his supermodel date Irina Shayk as well as an automatic IWC Portugieser Chronograph in pink gold case with a grey slate dial.
