Film director Spike Lee took the opportunity to pay tribute to the late Kobe Bryant in a purple-and-gold custom Gucci suit, the colours of the Los Angeles Lakers. The suit was also adorned with the number "24"—Bryant's iconic number—on his front lapels, which he called “tribute, honour, and homage”. Lee completed his look with a pair of Nike Kobe 9 Elite "Strategy" sneakers, purple-rimmed glasses and a hat.

Keeping it classy, Adam Driver suited up in a custom Burberry black wool mohair English-fit tuxedo, worn with a white cotton piqué-bib dress shirt with black onyx shirt studs and cuff links. He wore the look with a black grosgrain bow tie and black patent leather derby shoes, designed by Burberry chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci.

Billy Porter adores the spotlight on a Hollywood red carpet. For the Oscars this year, he stunned in a gold ensemble. Sporting a 24-carat gold-foiled feathered top with a billowing printed silk skirt, the look is said to be inspired by the Cupola Room at the Kensington Palace, London. He completed the look with custom Jimmy Choo boots in gold and gems from Atelier Swarovski.
