What does it mean to be a modern woman?

It’s to have the confidence and independence in my future and my career, to have the undivided support of my husband and family. I am blessed to have established myself in the industry. In this modern society, everything revolves around social media but as long as you know what you are doing, where you are going, use it to encourage and inspire other women around you.

What’s your approach to style?

I love to experiment but at the same time, I make sure to keep it simple and as real as it can get. As long as you feel good, as long as you feel confident, and also you feel comfortable, then you are good to go.

How do you stay poised in the face of challenges?

I work better and I function better in a very chaotic environment. In order to handle the situation better, I make sure to stay composed, relaxed and cool no matter what comes my way.

What’s the legacy you hope to leave behind?

For people to remember Scha as a balanced and positive woman. I want Lara Alana, my daughter, to know that she’s been a blessing to me. She has changed me a lot. Since having her, I’ve learned to be calmer and more collected, and take things as they come. To me you, have to set your priorities. I used to be very rigid but now I’m flexible: I’ve learned a lot from having a child.

How does femininity, motherhood and showbiz make you value yourself as a woman?

I know what I want now, but I know I’m not alone at the same time; as a mother, a wife and career woman, I try not to keep myself too busy. At the end of the day, I know I have a unit I have to take care of. I value everything around me, the guidance from my husband, Awal Ashaari, and the ability to see things in different perspectives.

What do you like about the new future classic, the Boxyz bag?

I find it very classic but modern at the same time. Thoughtful details like the small buckle on the front, to me that is what Salvatore Ferragamo is all about. I can see it’s original. I can imagine using it almost every day, attached with a strap when I wear my normal attire, and as a top handle bag with my formal long gowns. It holds all the essentials, it's convenient and practical: perfectly built for all occasions.

How does the Boxyz bag relate to women of today?

It’s strong, it’s solid and compact. That’s like us, all women. We are strong, we know what we want, we empower each other. That’s us all in one.
