The new fragrance by Louis Vuitton, Attrape-Rêves, came to master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, who sought to capture the sensation of jubilation and portray our magical experiences. To tie in with a symbolic theme, Louis Vuitton tapped award-winning Emma Stone to star in this debut fragrance film campaign evoking the spirit of Attrape-Rêves.
Led by fellow Academy Award winning director, Sam Mendes, the short film follows Emma through different moments, places, and emotions encounter on a woman's journey, intrinsic to Louis Vuitton’s values of travel and passion. The different backdrops that cascade different scenes hint at the contrasting personalities of Les Parfumes Louis Vuitton – in a subtle welcome to the ninth olfactory member.
The heady, enhanting composition of Attrape-Rêves bring to mind heartfelt memories, evoked by an African floral cacao, followed by a trail of fresh peonies, essence of patchouli, and sweetened by lychee and Turkish rose absolute. The scent’s contrasting qualities are rounded off with hints of ginger and bergamot.
The Attrape-Rêves comes in 100ml and 200ml bottles, and can be packed into iconic Louis Vuitton miniature leather travel cases.
