Louis Vuitton Watch Prize for Independent Creatives

The prize’s inaugural edition rewards the best in independent watchmaking

The Louis Vuitton Watch Prize is established to recognise the achievements in independent watchmaking. “[It] exists because we believe that the future of watchmaking belongs to the dreamers and rule-breakers who meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, remarks Jean Arnault, director of watches at Louis Vuitton.

First announced in November 2022, the prize drew nearly 1,000 submissions. The hopefuls were evaluated on design, creativity, innovation, craftsmanship, and technical complexity.
