When one thinks of La Mer, a number of words and images come to mind but they all have something to do with the sea, water and hydration. When one asks Kim Raymond about her relationship with water, she bursts into a knowing grin and says, “I am an Aquarius, therefore I am naturally a water-bearer.” Well, it seems that she and La Mer seem to be a match made in heaven.
An itch for the beach
Kim also shares that she is absolutely passionate about beaches and islands, so much so that she and her husband, Keith Foo, try to visit a new beach at any given chance, especially during the holidays. “I would say I have a very strong pull towards islands, oceans and water. I’ve always planned to retire by the beach, actually!”

A hefty dose of vitamin sea
Her first experience with the brand transpired about 5 or 6 years ago, and initially, she thought she didn’t really need it when she was younger. However, this notion seems to have changed. “Now that I use it – as I think that my skin is different now – it becomes better with the product,” Kim shares, “It doesn’t feel too strong. Plus, I don’t usually use too many things on my face, but the most important thing to me is the moisturiser.”
