Winona Ryder for Marc Jacobs

The inspiration for the look is actress Delphine Seyrig, a Lebanese-born French stage born in the 1961 film "Last Year at Marienbad".

Winona Ryder is the new face of Marc Jacobs' beauty brand.

Jacobs released an early look of the actress for his 2016 spring line on Instagram Monday, who sports cat eyes courtesy of winged eyeliner, strong brows, nude lips and a string of pearls.

The inspiration for the look is actress Delphine Seyrig, a Lebanese-born French stage born in the 1961 film "Last Year at Marienbad" who Jacobs describes in adjectives like "flawless cool, elegant and timeless."

Make-up is by Diane Kendal, photos by David Sims.

"The force of the surreal calm, and painstaking fetishistic polish of this film and its heroine are truly 'on fleek'' and continues to inspire me to date," he wrote. "No one I know could exude the adjectives I've listed as perfectly as Winona does... She does not model the look she gets into the role- and exudes it!"

More Marc Jacobs goodies: Its new fragrance Decadence is highly addictive on the nose and on the eyes.
