Following our must-have bags edit from the spring 2015 collections, we follow up with another crucial accessory that will complete your wardrobe - the heels.

This spring, we see a rise of new shoe trends that includes rainbow-coloured motifs, pointed-leather shoes, sneakers for dresses and a whole lot of straps on heels.

As the mighty Christian Louboutin once said that women have "an element of seduction in shoes that doesn't exist for men". It is one of the most powerful tools in a woman's arsenal.

Here we round up some of the best soles to have your feet in for the coming months (click on the links to purchase them).

For a vibrant flair in your wardrobe, it is always good to have a splash of colour but come spring 2015, the trick is not just one or two colours but a whole rainbow of them. The Christian Louboutin 'Fiorilili' satin heels (middle) with a colourful selection of sequined floral is a great way to embody spring in your steps.

Else, try on the strappy MSGM sandals (left) for that seductive touch on your evening looks. For weekend brunches, the way to go is definitely the Valentino rainbow plexi sandals (right), which boast of comfort and style.

Get dapper and suave with the pointed loafers, brogues and oxfords (click on the links to purchase)

Androgyny has been an ongoing favourite throughout the seasons and this spring, you can trade-in your heels for a comfortable pair of brogues, oxfords or loafers. While it is mainly associated with menswear, the pointed-toe flat shoes can also be feminine and empowering like the pair of see-through Stuart Weitzman oxfords (bottom left) for a little jazz.

For a feminine touch, the Victoria Beckham floral-appliqued white loafers (far right) is another highlight – one which had flooded the internet during fashion week. If you still prefer a little bit of heels, the Giuseppe Zanotti ankle brogue boots (top left) are just the right fit for you.

For that seductive and sensual touch, nothing can compare to a strappy pair of sandals, which brings a hint of bondage theme into action. Gianvito Rossi's suede edition (top left) is a great way to bring in two in-vogue trends – straps and suede – to play, while the butterfly bow-embellished Nicholas Kirkwood heels (top right) bring the lady on a more demure and elegant stride.

For the dark and edgy New Yorker style, 3.1 Phillip's sports-inspired heels (bottom left) are great to offset an all-white outfit. For the tribal edge, fitting of an urban warrior princess, this Aquazzura embellished 'Queen' shoes (bottom right) make a great standout piece with its silver discs and chains.

The new companion to any sportswear-inspired outfits, the sneakers are a trending favourite by many fashionistas around the world. The new style often involves the contrast of elegance against sportiness. Balenciaga's neoprene sneakers (top left) fits well with the the London cool girl who has plenty of leather and mesh pieces in her wardrobe.

For the bohemian chic lady, try one the Tod's striped espadrille sneakers (top right) for a youthful and free-spirited take. For those who love a good pair of sweatpants paired with statement tops, the MM6 Maison Margiela sneakers (bottom) is the one for you.
