After a successful debut in 2013, the LVMH Group returns with two spectacular prizes to support the emerging designers and aspiring fashion students.

Launched in 2013 and ongoing through to 2014, the LVMH Prize is an initiative created by the LVMH Group to support the young fashion talents of tomorrow and now this awe-inspring fashion fund is back for 2015.

For this year's initiative, the LVMH group has asked JW Anderson of Loewe to join the esteemed panel of judges, which includes Nicolas Ghesquière (Louis Vuitton), Karl Lagerfeld (Fendi), Humberto Leon and Carol Lim (Kenzo), Marc Jacobs (Marc Jacobs), Phoebe Philo (Céline), Raf Simons (Dior) and Ricardo Tisci (Givenchy).

In the second LVMH Prize, there will be two separate categories offered to young fashion talents: one for emerging fashion designers and another for aspiring fashion students.

For the first prize titled 'The Young Fashion Designers', it is a competition to discover new talents who are already within the fashion industry and looking for a platform to rise above the rest. Winners of this prize will receive a grant of 300,000 (RM1.2 million) and personalised technical and financial support from the LVMH Group for a 12-month period.

Last year, British designer Thomas Tait (see video below) won 300,000 to invest in his eponymous label in addition to a year-long mentorship.

The second prize titled 'Graduates' is a new addition to the LVMH Prize dedicated to fashion degree students around the world. Here, three winners will be selected to receive a 10,000 grant and an opportunity to work as part of the design team at an LVMH brand for one year.

On top of that, the Fashion Scout program is also back where audiences can scout talents for the LVMH Prize via Instagram. A winner will be given the opportunity to join this year's panel of experts and vote in Paris for the LVMH Prize 2015 top ten finalists.

Both competitions are open for talents across the globe. For more information on the LVMH Prize and on how to be a LVMH fashion scout, visit the official website or their instagram account @LVMHprizeteam.
